Ecogenics hosts representatives from the Community Partnership Center Ecogenics: Promoting sustainable practices through action-oriented projects 10/2/2006 -- A delegation representing both the Community Partnership Center and the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition met with representatives from Ecogenics Research Center to discuss a project being designed to promote local sustainability through small scale recovery systems. The groups will work side-by-side to design, implement, and manage a project that will reduce farm energy consumption while simultaneously facilitating the production of various value-added products. The sale of such products are designed to offset the initial costs associated with producing ones' own energy. Photos of the summit will be available on the Education page soon!!!! |
